Cook Day 03-02-11

My client wanted to expand their taste of grains.  So, I made them a millet pilaf.  Millet has been around for over 10,000 years.  It is packed with protein, B vitamins, minerals and is gluten-free.

Cooking Class

Yesterday, I took a Cuisine du Jour cooking class at Trevarrow, Inc.  The May class is always "Outdoor Entertaining".  Chef Chris Hessler is the Corporate Chef for Kruse & Muer Restaurants and a wonderful culinary teacher.

Cook Day 02-28-11

I have been testing lamb recipes lately because my clients have requested it.  So the recipes I tested first were from the United States Personal Chef Association (USPCA) database. These recipes have been used by personal chefs for 25 years. What a surprise to me (and my husband) that we like lamb.  I am so glad my clients requested a rack of lamb dinner.

Cook Day 02-21-11

I like chicken, but I enjoy eating pork tenderloin more.  My husband likes to eat chicken at least three times in a week, but I love to surprise him with pork! 

My clients only like to eat pork once in a while, but they do like to request this pork tenderloin meal.
