Personal Chef Cook Day 05-04-11

I enjoyed making these meals because of all the great favors.  Pork, shrimp and roasted vegetables (YUM!).  My client has requested at least one meal be meatless.  So, I have been testing vegan and vegetarian recipes to make sure the meat lovers in her family would approve.

Personal Chef Cook Day 05-02-11

Have you ever tried Quinoa?  It is a fabulous grain that takes on any flavor you want.  I found red quinoa and thought it would look great with green beens.

Personal Chef Cook Day 04-27-11


The challenge of cooking dinners for my client’s family is keeping a balance between everyone’s tastes. 

Majority of the time my clients are never home when I cook for them, so we mainly communicate through emails.  But today, my client was home.  It was a lovely surprise to be able to talk face to face. 

She told me that she wished she would have hired me years ago because her life is so much less stressful not having to worry about getting dinner on the table every night.  Then she said, “I don’t know what you do, but my kids are eating more vegetables than they did when I cooked.”  I said, “You have your gift and I have mine.”

Personal Chef Cook Day 04-25-11

I adore this chicken recipe because it always turns out the same – wonderful.  Not to mention the pan sauce of fresh lemons, white wine, butter and parsley.  Everyone says the same thing, “This is the best chicken I have ever eaten.”
